Costumes
I work across many materials – fabric is at the centre, together with LED technology, silicone and pneumatic systems for costume and stage design. My craft grew self-taught and deepened through courses with Berlin master tailor Luise Trapp. For me, material and costume are two paths to the same thing: sometimes they amplify and embody an existing aesthetic or character, sometimes characters, ideas and aesthetics only emerge from the material itself. Both directions shape my work. Since 2026 I have been making commissioned pieces for circus companies, premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival – alongside many works of my own for different pieces and costumes for other artists' shows.
